SAN ANTONIO – A Tex-Mex restaurant in the southwest was ordered to undergo a re-inspection in late November after being cited for a number of food safety violations, including having a dirty freezer.
Elizondo’s Tex-Mex kitchen, located in the 7500 block of Somerset Rd., Has also been reported to have plastic and potatoes in a sink intended for hand washing only.
The restaurant was ordered to be reinspected on December 2, according to Metropolitan Health records.
