Exciting Dining Events Are Hosted for The Edison at Disney Springs

Several exciting dining events have been announced for The Edison at Disney Sourcesbringing even tastier offerings to the popular restaurant.

  • Join The Edison at Disney Springs for a curated culinary and mixology experience, where attendees will step back in time, tasting four one-ounce pours of differently aged Old Forester bottles, featuring Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey from 1870, 1897, 1910 and 1920.
  • As guests sample each whiskey, they will also enjoy a four-course meal, featuring a delicious main course that has been expertly paired to showcase the different tasting notes in each aged bottle.
  • For example, Old Forester 1870 — a whiskey with notes of baked cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg, as well as a blend of citrus — will be served with the tangy and salty mix of bacon and blue cheese.
  • The Old Forester Dinner will be held May 12 from 6-8:30 p.m. at The Edison’s Tesla Lounge. Tickets start at $150 per person and are extremely limited.

Event menu:

  • 1 oz. Old Forester 1870 served with bacon and blue cheese
  • 1 oz. Old Forester 1897 served with a peppery steak and an arugula salad
  • 1 oz. Old Forester 1910 served with a ½ lobster tail in a bourbon brown butter sauce
  • 1 oz. Old Forester 1920 served with peaches and bourbon

  • In May, The Edison at Disney Springs will offer Espolòn cocktails and side dishes for its monthly mixology program.
  • Each week, guests will indulge in two deliciously selected cocktails, showcasing the sweet agave, lemon zest and tropical fruit notes of three types of tequila: Espolòn Blanco, Espolòn Reposado and Espolòn Anejo.
  • Specialty drinks will be paired with savory Mexican-inspired dishes to showcase the creamy tequila, such as fried churros served with Mexican chocolate sauce and seared corvina tacos.
  • These expert-paired tastings will take place May 10, 17, and 25, 6-8 p.m., at the Edison’s Lake Side Patio.

May 10 – Featured Spirit: Espolòn Blanco


  • “Summer Sin” – Tequila Espolòn Blanco, blackberries, agave, lime juice, cilantro
  • “Fresas Con Crema” – Tequila Espolòn Blanco, strawberry puree, fresh vanilla bean paste


  • Shrimp marinated in tequila and lime served with roasted corn salsa and cilantro cream
  • “Mexican Hot Chocolate” – fried churros, Mexican chocolate sauce, whipped cream

May 17 – Featured Spirit: Espolòn Reposado


  • “Izta” – Tequila Espolòn Reposado, Grand Marnier, orange bitters, chocolate bitters, agave and served smoked
  • “An Afternoon on the Yucatan” – Espolòn Reposado Tequila (Infused Watermelon, Cucumber and Basil) Fresh Yuzu, Watermelon Juice, Topped with Bubbles


  • Braised pork served with roasted marbled potatoes, pearl onions and orange chili syrup
  • Seared Corvina tacos served with cucumber, watermelon salad, basil, yuzu and aioli

May 25 – Featured Spirit: Espolòn Anejo


  • “Tangerine Dreams” – Espolòn Anejo Tequila, tangerine juice, fresh vanilla bean paste, Electric Dust
  • “Abuelita” – Tequila Espolòn Anejo, Habanero bitters, chocolate bitters, cocoa cream


  • Citrus Roasted Sweet Sticky Wings in a Honey Tangerine Sauce
  • Coffee rubbed pork tenderloin served with sautéed quinoa, cipollini and kale
