Food Network, these best East Texas dishes deserve an episode

We’re sending a message to Food Network, it’s time to bring some of these cameras from your shows and feature our fantastic restaurants on many of your shows.

East Texas is full of fantastic restaurants owned by extremely talented chefs, pitmasters and bakers. For years you, the Food Network, have created shows featuring local hot spots and we think it’s time for some of our favorite hot spots to be featured on one of your many shows.

I can imagine Guy Fieri from ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives’ driving his 1968 red Camaro on the highway. 31 off to Country Tavern for baby back ribs or take a trip to the brick streets of downtown Tyler to have some Mexican food and a margarita or two at Don Juan’s On The Square. Or one of our fantastic dinners, drive-ins and dives that we have here in the pine forest.

If Guy Fieri isn’t available, ask Michael Symon to tour East Texas for an episode of “Burgers, Brew &” That. ” We have award winning BBQs throughout East Texas that smoke fantastic BBQs. When it comes to burger restaurants, we have several for you and one of them has been around for over 100 years.

While we are making suggestions to your Food Network, how about asking Trisha Yearwood to send a shout out to some of our southern food restaurants on “Trisha’s Southern Kitchen” because they cook phenomenal food? . Additionally, we also have bakeries that we would like you to feature on one of your baking shows.

Food Network, I guess this could be kind of an open letter offering you some suggestions for future episodes, highlights, and acknowledgments. We pride ourselves on our local East Texas restaurants that work hard to keep us coming back every day. This is just a sample of those we would like to introduce to you. We have plenty more!
