Join Bivouac Ciderworks on the last day of Women’s History Month

See + Do “A Woman’s Place” cider pairing dinner

Thursday, March 24, 20220

A Woman’s Place…is in the kitchen, in the cider house, in the roasting, on stage, at the head of the company. This cider dinner is an exploration of the many talents of San Diego’s accomplished women.

Join Bivouac Ciderworks in a celebration of all that has been created by women. On Thursday, March 31, join us for a 4-course tasting menu and cider pairing, created and curated by Chef Sarah Carithers and Founder Lara Worm of Bivouac, and complemented by other women-created and owned businesses .

All things created by women

The menu will include dishes like locally caught fish in ceviche crudo, locally grown produce in pico de gallo, and traditional Mexican flavors with exciting twists. Expect fresh agua fresca cider; a return of a favorite Bivouac flavor, “Halyard” (habanero mango); a dark Mexican lager-inspired beer/cider combo known as “graf,” made in collaboration with female co-owned and operated, Second Chance Beer Co.

Virginia Morrison, co-owner of Second Chance Beer Co. is also a former lawyer, and the collab graf will be called “Two Lawyers Walk into a Beer”, finally, Bivouac will present a Mexican hot chocolate cider, infused with coffee from owned by a wife, Kakawa Coffee.

Bivouac will welcome the return of musician Julia Sage, a South American musician, and will offer a cider-to-go label inspired by Julia’s personal brand and music.
